My Work
I have always loved a good story.
Our culture is based on stories. Even what we mistake for the Truth is often just a story we are telling ourselves.
Once upon a time I was a scientist. Science tries to remove the stories and arrive at facts, but ironically scientists then need stories to convey back to the rest of the population what they have uncovered. It seems that in much the same way that light exists as both a wave and a particle, there is no removing stories from the human condition.
I use my stories to explore aspects of humanity in what I hope is a fun way. What is good? What is bad? How much is enough?
Mostly though, I do it to make people laugh. Heaven knows there is enough hardship in the world. Maybe we can all learn to be a bit kinder.
